🌱(Re)forestation
Research shows that planting trees is one of the most effective and affordable ways to tackle the Climate Crisis. As trees grow, they absorb and store the carbon dioxide emissions that are driving global heating. New research estimates that a worldwide planting program could remove just under one-third of all the emissions from human activities that remain in the atmosphere today, a figure that scientists describe as mind-blowing. And honestly? Investing in trees is investing in breathable air, and we can all agree that's pretty vital.
This is why Forest Financial has chosen to focus on the rebuilding of forests. Through our reforestation efforts, we aim to positively impact the earth and demonstrate our commitment through action - not words. Forest Financial will be collaborating with reputable charities worldwide to support us with our reforestation efforts. In-depth research is done to ensure that Forest Financial only partners with credible organizations whose goals are aligned with ours, and who are committed to accountability and transparency.

An official forest planted by and for Forest Financial
Charity donations through our Forester fees
Forest Financial forest
As a symbol of our commitment to social and environmental issues, Forest Financial will be working with Treedom to create a dedicated Forest Financial forest. This forest will comprise of 290 trees of mixed species, planted in different countries.
This global forest will include:
180 x Grevillea trees
30 x Baobab trees
80 x Forestry & Fruit tree mix
Each of our 290 trees will receive its own unique codes and links, enabling us to track each tree. We will also integrate this forest directly into our Forest Financial website, allowing our investors the opportunity to discover more about this incredible environmental initiative, view how much C02 has been absorbed by our trees, and discover the positive change this had made within these local communities. This initiative is still a work in progress, but once it has gone live and the Forest Financial forest has been integrated into our website, we will share further details with our community.
Evergreen NFTs
In addition to creating our global Forest Financials forest - our Evergreen NFTs are a way in which our community can get involved, with their own reforestation contribution.
Each Evergreen NFT will be representative of a real tree. So once an NFT is minted, a tree will be planted, photographed & geolocated, and our investors will have access to an online page, where they can follow the story of the project it will be part of.
In addition to contributing to Trees being planted, investments from our Evergreen treasury will also be made to various reforestation projects. Through these investments, our NFT holders will earn $FRUIT rewards. Ongoing donations
In addition to the above 2 initiatives, we will also be hosting ongoing donations to reforestation causes. When a new YieldTree is created, a new Forester NFT is minted. This Forester takes care of the YieldTree to ensure it continues to fruit.
Every Forester requires a salary to keep maintaining their YieldTrees, with 50%* of these fees reserved for our charitable donations.
Treedom
Treedom is the first of many sustainability charities that we will be working with, in support of our reforestation mission.
Founded a decade ago in Florence, Italy, Treedom focuses on promoting sustainability through agroforestry projects and empowering smallholder farmers, while offering individuals and businesses an opportunity to showcase their green values and offset their carbon footprint.
The social enterprise engages smallholder farmers in developing countries who plant the tree on your behalf and take care of it for you. This partnership gives farmers training and income opportunities, encourages biodiversity and reforestation in their country, combats soil erosion and desertification, and empowers their local communities to implement sustainable systems.
Unlike most charities, Treedom has a unique method of making the donations visible to donators. By "purchasing" a specific tree, you allow for a seed to be planted which is then connected to your online profile or forest. Updates, pictures, and a geolocation tag can then be seen on the profile of that tree.
